The main campus of Lenoir Community College is located at the intersection of highways US 70 East and NC 58 South in Kinston, NC. The College, located on more than 128 acres, has modern buildings housing state-of-the-art equipment, the Leigh & John McNairy Library, technologically enhanced classrooms, and a student center gymnasium complex. Kinston is located in Eastern North Carolina, 80 miles east of Raleigh, 30 miles south of Greenville, and 60 miles north of Emerald Isle.  The Lenoir County Early College High School is also at the main campus in Kinston. Lenoir County Early College High School is a collaborative effort between Lenoir Community College and Lenoir County Public Schools. The program offers incoming ninth graders the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree within four to five years. 

 

Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Center

The Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Center (AAMC), located at the NC Global TransPark in Kinston, is home to various Workforce Development initiatives, such as the Small Business Center, continuing education in partnership with the local aviation industry, customized training, and more. The site features a 70-seat auditorium, conference spaces, multiple classrooms and labs for future program development, and a rotunda with dining and kitchen facilities. This site does not currently provide curriculum programming.

 

Greene County Center

The Greene County Center is housed in a state-of the-art facility that was opened in 2000 with a second wing added in 2009. This 31,000 square-foot facility has 18 classrooms, two shop areas, and nine administrative offices. A variety of Curriculum and Workforce Development courses are offered each semester at the Center and at other selected sites throughout Greene County. The Center is also an approved High School Equivalency (HSE) testing site. This site is also home to the Greene County Career Center, which is strategically located to deliver education and training services to job seekers and employers with efficiency and convenience. 

The Greene Early College High School is also at this location. Greene Early College High School is a collaborative effort between Lenoir Community College and Greene County Schools. The program offers incoming ninth graders the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree within four to five years. 

 

Jones County Center

The Jones County Center is housed in a modern facility that was completed in 2009. The Jones County Campus of Lenoir Community College consists of a state-of-the-art computer lab, Nurse Aide lab, a Manicurist clinic floor, seven classrooms, and seven offices. The center offers a variety of Workforce Development courses to include Phlebotomy, Nurse Aide I & II, Pharmacy Technician, Central Sterile Technician, Health Unit Coordinator, Registered Barber, Manicurist, and Transitional and Career Studies (TCS). The Technical Trades Center, also located at the Jones County Center, opened in 2013 and consists of three workshops for Gunsmithing and Welding courses, in addition to two offices. These programs offer degrees, diplomas, and certifications, including the opportunity to apply for National Certification. The campus is also a host site for the Jones County Career Center, which aids in career planning and job placement services to job seekers, while also providing employers with a variety of employment and training services.

 

Lenoir Community College Workforce Development Center

The Lenoir Community College Workforce Development Center is the site for various community agencies, as well as the location for several community programs. The Center offers correctional officer training, local law enforcement training, health services classes, nail technology with manicuring services, and a barber school with patron services. The facility is also home to Greene County Head Start and the state headquarters of the North Carolina Motorcycle Safety Program. This site does not currently provide curriculum programming.

 

Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE)

The Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) is a state-of-the-art training facility located at the NC Global TransPark. Designed to support the next generation of aviation professionals, this center brings together hands-on technical training, flight instruction, and modern learning spaces, all in one cutting-edge environment. This new site is home to curriculum programming including Industrial Systems Technology, Aviation Management & Career Pilot Technology, and Aviation Systems Technology, as well as Workforce Development training in Aviation Maintenance and Airframe & Powerplant. Programs at this site feature National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials, and NC3 Certifications. Showcasing eight traditional classrooms, eleven maintenance laboratories, a 13,000-square-foot aircraft hangar, full motion flight simulators, and student lounge and conference spaces, this facility places LCC at the forefront of aviation in Eastern North Carolina.

 

Other Locations

In order to meet the educational and workforce needs of the surrounding community, Lenoir Community College offers courses and training at other locations throughout the three-county service area. These may include the Pink Hill Wellness Center, Jones County Barbering Clinic, and the Small Business Center. In addition, LCC offers curriculum instruction at the following approved SACSCOC Off-Campus Instructional Sites not owned by LCC: Greene Central High School, South Lenoir High School, Bethel Christian Academy, Jones Senior High School, Kinston Community Council for the Arts, North Lenoir High School, and Lancer Academy (Kinston High School).
